The Inclusion, Access and Success Committee shall advance the association’s commitment to inclusion for under-served students, their parents, and the educational professionals who guide them. With that being said, MOACAC will host an Inclusion Conference with a focus on preparing students and parents for college success through process. Topics include:

  • How to choose a College
  • How to Pay for College
  • Understanding A+ in Missouri
  • How to Stay on Track to Reach Graduation
  • Student Athletes (NCAA & NAIA)
  • HBCU's, Rural Colleges and Community Colleges

Parents and students will have the ability to choose three topics of interest to attend for break-out sessions.

Lunch will be provided, so all dietary restrictions need to be communicated to MOACAC in advance.

Goals of the Conference

  • Assessing and advocating for the needs of under-served students and their families
  • Providing college access and success resources
  • Providing programs pertaining to college access and success
  • Managing the association’s annual scholarship
  • Providing professional development for professionals working with under-served students

Inclusion Conference Scholarship

MOACAC will be awarding three one-time $750 scholarships for students who attend a 2020 Inclusion Conference. Winners will be randomly drawn after the conclusion of the 2020 Inclusion Conferences.
