The Admission Practices committee helps educate MOACAC members regarding best practices in college admission counseling.
Works on planning the annual Spring conference. Subcommittees include: Evaluations, Exhibitors/Sponsors, First-Timers, Hospitality, On-Site, Programming, Publications/Publicity, Registration, Special Events.
Chaired by the Immediate Past President. The committee will follow By-Laws language to present a slate of candidates for President-Elect and Treasurer-Elect to be presented for vote to the General Membership at the annual Spring conference. This committee will handle the nominations and awarding of the MOACAC Rising Star Awards and the Peggy Clinton Memorial Service Award (with approval by the President).
Follows legislative action in Missouri and on the national level that affects access and transition issues. This committee coordinates the Legislative Forum in Jefferson City each year and keeps the membership informed about important legislative initiatives.
Deals with programs in regard to equal educational access; maintains a communications network with organizations whose goals and objectives are to promote higher education for populations who are under-represented in the college ranks.
Coordinates annual membership drive; maintains official membership records; assists NACAC promotion in Missouri.
Coordinates and assists in the development and presentation of professional growth activities for MOACAC members. Coordinates the summer “Tools of the Trade” institute, the CUBE Conferences, the Support Staff Drive-In, the Counselor Bus Tours, and numerous other activities.
Organizes and directs the total operation of the St. Louis and Kansas City National College Fairs, in cooperation with NACAC.

Maintains MOACAC website; creates and organizes online registrations for MOACAC membership and events. Assists other committees in data retrieval from website and MOACAC membership.
Strengthen MOACAC’s visibility, recognition, and appreciation through purposeful promotion and outreach by way of careful oversight of the association’s brand and identity. Publishes the MOACAC newsletter which is the primary vehicle for communication within the organization; solicits information from the constituency of high school and college counselors as well as from the Executive Board for publications.
Plans and oversees the College Day/Night schedule in collaboration with the Missouri School/College Relations Commission.
Plans and oversees the summer time Bus Tours – Show-Me Bus Tour (runs in odd-numbered years) & MOACAC Counselor Bus Tour (runs in even-numbered years).
Allows the efficient communication between MOACAC and MSCA while reinforcing the strengths shared by both organizations in serving students pursuing higher education.
