The Braxton Rethwisch Scholarship

The Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) is pleased to offer the Braxton Rethwisch scholarship to high school seniors who exhibit a commitment to learning and have demonstrated leadership skills and community service involvement. A total of five one-time $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

Eligibility:

  • Open to current high school seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater
  • Applicant must be a Missouri resident
  •  Applicant must enroll as a full-time student at a MOACAC member post-secondary institution. Here is a list of MOACAC member institutions for 2020-2021 academic year.
  • Applications must be submitted by March 16th, 2020 in order to be considered for the scholarship.

*If selected recipient does not enroll in a MOACAC post-secondary member institution, the scholarship will be revoked and awarded to another applicant.

Students should complete the application on Scholarship Central. Scholarship Central is a portal that gives students access to many local and regional scholarships. Previously focused on the St. Louis area, Scholarship Central is expanding to include opportunities open to students across the state of Missouri.

To access the application, students should:

1. Visit this link: https://stlouisgraduates.academicworks.com/opportunities/3047

2. Read eligibility criteria. If eligible, click the gray “sign up” button to create an account,

or click the orange “sign in” button if a Scholarship Central account has already been created.

3. Once logged in, complete the General Application. This is a profile.

4. Find Braxton Rethwisch Scholarship in their “recommended opportunities” and click “apply.”
