If you need overnight accommodations, the Embassy Suites in St. Charles is connected to the conference center and is offering a discounted rate of $149 per night. Parking is free and located on-site.

Annual Conference Grant Application

Follow the link below to complete the Annual Conference Grant Application. The grant is for high school counselors that may find it difficult to attend the 2023 Annual Conference without financial assistance from MOACAC. Complete the form for Annual Conference, and MOACAC will be in contact on whether or not you are receiving a grant to attend Annual Conference. If you are, you will be given further instruction on how to redeem your grant. Average grant amounts for attendees staying overnight range from $400-600.

Annual Conference Session Proposals

You may begin drafting your session ideas now. Follow the link below to submit your session proposal. The session proposal form will close on February 10th. A presentation title, short written description, and names, titles, and contact information for all presenters will be required pieces of information when the form launches. A visual presentation and handouts are also key components of a strong session.

  • I need to submit a budget proposal for the conference. What should I expect to pay?
Full Conference Pricing


College Professional: $195 for Members / $225 for Non-Members
High School Professional: $150 for Members / $175 for Non-Members
Independent Counselor: $195 for Members / $225 for Non-Members

Single Day Conference Pricing

College Professional: $125 for Members / $155 for Non-Members 
High School Professional: $100 for Members / $125 for Non-Members 
Independent Counselor: $125 for Members / $155 for Non-Members

  • When does conference registration launch? January 2023
  • Are meals provided? Three meals are provided. Breakfast Day 1, Lunch Day 1, and Breakfast Day 2. Accommodations will be made for dietary restrictions but you must list your dietary restrictions when prompted on the conference registration form.
  • How can I volunteer with conference planning? There are several opportunities to volunteer with the following committees: marketing/communication, sessions, on-site, vendors/sponsors, registration, social, and outreach. Committees begin meeting regularly in November. If you are not able to commit to serving on a planning committee, please consider volunteering on-site at the conference. You will have the option to sign up for an on-site volunteer role on the registration form.
  • How will I receive updates on the conference? Please bookmark the conference website for updates and check back periodically. The MOACAC newsletter and social media will include important conference announcements as well. Once conference registration closes on March 3rd, you will begin receiving details via email that are specific to your arrival and attendance (i.e. parking, schedule, socials).
