ANNUAL CONFERENCE

GOVERNANCE & NOMINATING

Chaired by the Immediate Past President.  The committee will follow By-Laws language to present a slate of candidates for President-Elect and Treasurer-Elect to be presented for vote to the General Membership at the annual Spring conference.  If applicable, a slate of candidates for NACAC Delegate (Secondary and/or Post-Secondary) will be presented for vote to the General Membership at the annual Spring conference.  Finally, this committee will handle the nominations and awarding of the MOACAC Rising Star Awards and the Peggy Clinton Memorial Service Award (with approval by the President).

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

Follows legislative action in Missouri and on the national level that affects access and transition issues.  This committee coordinates the Legislative Forum in Jefferson City each year and keeps the membership informed about important legislative initiatives.

INCLUSION, ACCESS, AND SUCCESS

COMMUNICATIONS

Strengthen MOACAC’s visibility, recognition, and appreciation through purposeful promotion and outreach by way of careful oversight of the association’s brand and identity. Publishes the MOACAC newsletter which is the primary vehicle for communication within the organization; solicits information from the constituency of high school and college counselors as well as from the Executive Board for publications.
