The College Counseling Institute is a one-day professional development opportunity for high school counselors who want to learn more about helping their students with the college admissions process. Counselors will have the opportunity to attend four sessions throughout the day with topics that include:
- Admit? Waitlist? Deny? You Decide!
- College Athletics - Role of High School Counselors
- One Size Does Not Fit All: Finding the Right "Fit"
- Advising Students on College Application Essay Writing
- And more!
This event will be particularly helpful for counselors new to college counseling (five years or less), but seasoned counselors seeking additional professional development are also welcome! Lastly, you will need to have an active MOACAC membership in order to attend the CCI.
